The latest issue of Fortune is once again fawning over Cisco. In their recap of the large techs, they say that Cisco is pretty much untouchable. One of my favorite lines was about how it wasn't so much about technology anymore, but about customer base and perceived stability. Basically were saying that customers will just stay with Cisco because they already have Cisco products in place and it would be to complicated to add new vendors. (Reminds me a little of IBM in its glory days.) I've always loved a good underdog story - glad to be participating in this one!
