John: Great news and thanks. The best news I have heard since the merger announcement,WOW. So doing some extrapoation here,it looks like in principle it will only cost Compaq some 3.5 billion dollars,as it seems over 63% of the total price of 9.5 billion will be paid by DEC themselves.NOT BAD JOHN,NOT BAD AT ALL.
To top it all off, you add the cost reductions,increases in efficiency & productivity,synergies and such esoteric phenomena,I think we are into money here.
