CBS noted that Rouda was seen in the photos “spending time at a private beach in Southern California” days after he criticized Californians who thought they should be allowed to go to the beach, too. Rouda tried to explain it away saying that he and his family “were actively moving and adequately socially distancing on a residential beach, which has explicitly outlined beach access requirements in accordance with Governor Newsom’s beach order.” So, Rouda was all for shutting down beaches for the lowly people, but he not for himself. Oh, no, like a good, privileged Democrat, he doesn’t think the rules apply to him. Typical Democrat.
