Pareto Analysis of COVID deaths by age group as of 5/6/2020:
  • 31.3% of COVID deaths are > 85 old (i.e. chance of death if infected = 68.7%)
  • 58.6% of COVID deaths are > 75 old (i.e. chance of death if infected = 41.4%)
  • 79.9% of COVID deaths are > 65 old (i.e. chance of death if infected = 20.1%)
  • 92.2% of COVID deaths are > 55 old (i.e. chance of death if infected = 7.8%)
  • 97.3% of COVID deaths are > 45 old (i.e. chance of death if infected = 2.7%)
  • 99.2% of COVID deaths are > 35 old (i.e. chance of death if infected = 0.8%)
  • 99.9% of COVID deaths are > 25 old (i.e. chance of death if infected = 0.1%)
Now, here's the kicker to end all debate. 94% of COVID deaths in the US were people who had at least one of 3 risk factors: 65+ age, heart disease, or lung disease. So the data tells us that if you are under the age of 65 and have no heart of lung disease, the chances of you dying from COVID are similar to the chance of you getting struck by lightening. If you are older than 65 and have no underlying conditions, then you have an excellent chance of survival.

Once again, what this data is SHOUTING at us is that this economy should not have been shut down. Instead, the old and infirm should have been quarantined and everyone else should have been left to go about their business with some extra precautions. The facts are now becoming indisputable.
