What was the health profile of that 47 year old? Was he obese? Did he have heart disease or lung disease? Was he a smoker or did he have asthma? Did he have diabetes?
Come on, you just described 50% of all Americans above the age of 40.
That is one of the reasons why we have the world's highest death rates from this virus.
That's not exactly true. The UK, Spain, and Italy have higher death rate than us.

But even so, that contradicts your assertion that few people die from the coronavirus, or that only old people should fear it and should lock themselves in.
