Yes, Milton Friedman advocated, among other things, to reduce Taxes and Regulations, To Cut Government Spending and the Size of Government which tended to Reduce Inflation, and to have Free Markets and to always remember that there's "No Such Thing As A Free Lunch".

Generally speaking Democrats and Socialists tend to do the OPPOSITE OF ALL OF THE ABOVE.
