MS DOS 3.1 or Manual transmissions I am always happy to find out that people read or enjoy anything I write so thank you. I have grown old with Bill Gates, though he is the leader of the Evil Empire, he is still Bill. Microsoft is still evil today, every upgrade hides the thing you used to use the most. What was wrong with autoexec.bat and config.sys? I love e.e. cummings, few can stand in that light and remain unchanged. My favourite poet is without a doubt Wilson Pugsley MacDonald Did you know he actually made his living on poetry alone? Many people have yet to meet Wilson MacDonald and I hope they enjoy finding him. Perhaps my favourite wordsmith is John Hollbrook "Jack" Vance. There are many great writers here on SI, there always have been. I am not sure why I write on SI other than to entertain or educate. I don't write anywhere else, just here. I read a lot on SI and I do enjoy reading some comments a lot. I have a solid phalanx of writers that I love to read here on SI, gurus all.
