Great OpEd today by one of my favorite libertarians, TJ Rogers " Our disrespectful local and state governments should stop taking companies (and their jobs) for granted." TJ Rogers ran Cyprus Semi and was one of the last to leave the Silicon Valley. I remember at the time he said he would be wasting investor dollars to pay $97M in CA sales tax to buy the $1B in equipment he'd need to make the next generation fab in California... plus pay 2% a year property tax on the equipment so he built it in Texas but kept living here himself.
