Lisa, this explanation does make sense. On the other hand, as of 15:00, up volume on the nyse was 348, while down volume was 161. I do not have a source for naz up/down volume. Know any? Also, the nyse had very good volume. But the dow managed to slip under its 200dma, and close under. Naz volume was just average. Sox closed pretty much right on its 50dma. Still a very confused market, altho today was a bullish picket on the top of the fence.
