New outstanding share figure for Oilex received moments ago.
Per Transfer Agent for Oilex the total number of outstanding shares as of this morning is 49,485,030. This number represents an increase of 5,000,000 shares over the number received from the Transfer Agent on January 9, 1998. (50,000,000 was the authorized figure---so they have basically reached the ceiling.)
To my knowledge there has been no public statement or filing by the company regarding the additional 5,000,000 shares.
Please note that these numbers do not reflect the recent 20:1 reverse split. The Transfer Agent informed me that she received the company press release yesterday morning and has informed the company that she needs additional documentation before she can implement the split on her records.
