I'm surprised that everybody here glossed over the very important news from yesterday: Compaq buys Digital. Yahoo uses Altavista as their search engine. I expect Compaq to shut down/sell Altavista soon. Either Yahoo buys it up, which would impact the earnings, or somebody else does (say Microsoft) creating thus a competitor to Yahoo. How about that?
