elp~

ha! glad you got that photo of the outdoor kitchen.
never to be repeated.
that was shelby schlepping along on the right.

enjoyed your treatise on lenticular clouds.
i saw them often when i had the place up in bibs
and also out on the desert...
got a better view of them on the desert ..
usually just a handful at a time.
that one day though.. it was hilarious..
they were all over the sky
and they weren't all "upright" either..
some were tipped
and many were pancake stacks.
i had to drive to Sierra Vista for some reason that day
and when i got through Mule Pass and The Divide
and got onto the other side of the Mules,
there were even MORE of them over there
and they were even more tilted.
it was like something in a crazy cartoon..
funniest sky I've ever seen.
probably have photos of some of this somewhere
but the iMac has broken down and i can't see the photos
in the various drives.

i see lenticular clouds here too -
sometimes sitting over the north range
which is the low mountain (not really a mountain..
a very high ridge formed of basalt
that lies between the river valley where i live
and the Bay of Fundy just a few miles west of here.

yes,.. energy... i often think of how
what we make and do doesn't really matter.
it's the energy - the act of creating - that is all that matters.
experiences. seeing. doing.
who cares about the end result.
it is the creating that is fun and most interesting.
there is no beginning or end point.
no such thing as failure.
it's all water under the bridge.
it's all good.
