Ben, I'm afraid I can't agree with much of anything you have said and I certainly don't see how it could be a self-fulfilling prophesy. The problem is deffinetly there and those who chose to ignor it are in deep dodo that will place others in jeprody. JP Morgan did a study and put out a report on May 17/97. It's a 17 pager and a must read. They are doing updates and the last was in Aug. The May report is at: jpmorgan.com I think you will see it all in a different light once read. Those who are non-compliant will create havock for others and if it's caotic will drive gold skyward. JP Morgan also has an ongoing ECM calculator.
