>> The argument on yesterday's video was that the drug is most valuable used prophylactically. But there's no way to test that hypothesis other than a large rct that intentionally infects people. Likewise using it as treatment immediately upon onset of symptoms.

I'm not aware of anyone who anticipates using it prophylactically, other than in situations where a family member has gotten it or there is other prolonged exposure which has a high likelihood of contagion, or health care workers, who do use HCQ in that manner.

With those exceptions, it is not generally prescribed, AFAIK, before a person has contracted the virus. I could certainly be wrong about that. The lack of a specific protocol may be creating a wild-wild west situation with respect to its off-label use but it seems there is more an environment of irrational fear than anything.

However, there are plenty of studies happening now as it has become apparent there's something going on with it. Unfortunately, some still don't get the critical nature of Zinc in the mix, and they're probably going to fail and make big news.

But there are several studies with Zinc and antibiotics and the preliminary results suggest they will show excellent efficacy. If a person who is sick gets on the protocol they'll live. Vitamins C & D are also being given by some on the forefront.

I am taking Zinc+Quercetin prophylactically as Quercetin is believed to have some of the benefits of HCQ (as a Zinc ionophore) although less pronounced. I think it is harmless and we know that Zinc is a critical component of powering the immune system.
