Re: v-Wave data for the 18 Month time horizon................

We've been collecting the new data for the shorter term Appreciation Potential from Value Line and now have nearly a year's worth of information. I thought it would be interesting to show what the preliminary results indicate. Here's the data since last June through this week's latest update:

The left hand Y-axis shows our traditional v-Wave line for individual stocks while the right axis shows the 18 Month forecast data. There's a rather big difference in scaling on which I'll have to work, but it is encouraging to see the two streams seem to follow pretty much the same general path.

Scaled as it is, it suggested a cash reserve level of nearly 80% at the market's peak and then making a submarine dive to around -80 suggested cash at the March bottom. If people were willing to use AIM with Margin, this might have been rather successful history. Note at the end it's already suggesting a rise to around 45% cash. Well, AIM would have had its hands full with this!

Let me know what thoughts you might have on this new data stream from Value Line. It's not a lot of information with which to work as of yet but looks promising to me. If nothing else, maybe we can create a "cross-over" type usage.

Best regards,
OAG Tom
