No, seriously, Halfscot, I am arguing that Jane Fonda is an AMERICAN patriot. She was serving her country in the best way she knew how, and I think she was very brave, if perhaps a little foolish. And I think OUR GOVERNMENT was primarily responsible for the increased number of deaths of Amreica in Viet Nam. I mean, our government decided to go, and they decided to stay long after they knew the war wasn't winnable. Are we really going to blame that on Jane Fonda?
Unfortunately, for some of the most important American patriots, there will never be any parades. Only in the fullness of time, in history playing out will we truly know. You don't like Ted Turner either? My goodness, that couple is trying to preserve species facing extinction, and he is giving a billion dollars to the U.N.
