| | | I'd say that there's still a hell of a lot that needs to be discovered and uncovered about this Coronavirus.
For example, do certain ethnic groups have, within their DNA or genetic structure, some aspect that makes them less susceptible or vulnerable to this virus ? Is there more than one strain of this Virus, and if so, have various parts of the world been afflicted with different strains ?, etc, etc .....
In my part of the world we have a gross population of about 59 million, with its predominantly non-Caucasian population. We've only had 16400 confirmed cases with 7300 recoveries and only 286 deaths.
The United kingdom, with its predominantly Caucasian population, has a population size much the same at about 66 million, with about 246000 COVID-19 cases and over 34700 deaths ! That's about 15 times more cases and 121 times more deaths, and their gross population is only about 1,12 times larger than ours ! |
