Well I dunno if they will test in marmosets, but that was considered the toughest model for infectious respiratory disease that researchers test MERS in.
I think the more important lesson from this study is that a coronavirus primarily attacking the respiratory system and branching from there could create a quite different scenario than Ebola virus, and may make treatment with antibody approach much more challenging for wuhan virus.
It is still true that this virus impacts far more than just the lungs, and so even if the lungs can't be efficiently targeted, clearing things up in the rest of the body could still greatly help fighting the infection. But you have to question how well this approach will work for a coronavirus attacking the lungs.
