I agree with you that it would be despicable for docs to discredit it because Trump promoted it. But I don't believe that that is the case. You actually believe that doctors publicly say that the evidence currently shows that it has not been effective because they don't like Trump?! That is just not right. There have been a number of randomized trials by now that cast doubt on its efficacy. Most of the docs that I have read that say it was effective didn't run randomized trials with controls. That is the problem. Not that Trump said anything one way or the other.
