I have a good hippie carpenter, today he drove in from the beach and forgot the garage fob I lent him to get in. He phoned to get in but I was on other side of town so Bob drove all the way back to the beach to get the fob and come back. It is a 45 minute drive one-way to get to the beach, driving time now is over 135 minutes. I get home just as he arrives and he can’t find the key to open his trailer, so he has to do a forced entry. He comes in and works for one hour, takes a leisurely one hour lunch in the garden playing fetch with my dogs and works another hour. His last dilemma was he couldn’t take trailer back to beach because for some reason he is now in wife’s little car and I didn’t have an extra lock so he drives to Lowe’s, buys a lock, comes rushing back and then skedaddles back to the beach to get kid. He left the fob I lent him on the kitchen table. This is a normal day for Bob, and it is because of legions of like-types that society is turning into a giant kommunist-kindergarten.
