Yes, have, once, when visiting wife at her MBA school HBS, I spoke to her class about the three-part consecutive case studies re Tianjin Otis Elevator Company, the deal I along w/ two others negotiated and ran from inception onward for 3+ years. I was the finance guy on the 3-people team. Tiny US$ 1.5M invested, involving engineers from 16 nations, and for 50% of China’s elevator market, starting w/ doubling sales the first year, and payback of 1.5 by distribution in 18 months. It was an ohwhoawee JV at the time. The case studies are still used, am told, because it had elements of everything important.
I am not saying on-line can replace all physical schooling, but on-line shall likely play a tremendously greater role than now, because am looking at it unfold everyday. The future is bright for much more folks than now, as not all require a brand-name certificate at exorbitant cost. |
