lbs-- look at ACLY today. A contract and price drop. Contracts mean nothing by themselves. Look at Wonderware beating SPLY earnings means nothing-- you have to beat the street. TV ads costs can be prohibative--- of course they could issue more shares at 2 1/2-- and do not target. The required news is just keeping the name on the wires giving some indication they are alive and investors should expect a return. Everyone keeps adding a qtr when one gets close. Jenkins said he expected to see some Y2k $$ this qtr but before the numbers come out many are making excuses already and he has not said a word. They may be better off than you realize, I cannot imagine Dreyfus not doing a bit of research. I am sure their staff feel it is great--- I am glad they bought. If they were permitted they would most likely have bought more as the strange number indicates (956K) they took it to the max their charter or policy permitted. But face it for them 5MM is peanuts so expect them to continue. This is a 2 year deal. If you are not sure how representative this qtr will be--- I hope it is great because it is an important qtr. I hope to be gone before earnings and to trade this puppy to the 40 range this thread has mentioned <ggg> and then with NMS blessing short it hard after 01/03/00.
