News: BEDFORD, Mass., Jan 27 (Reuters) - Project Software &Development Inc said on Tuesday its board approved a stockholder rights plan that is designed for shareholders to receive fair treatment if there is a proposal to acquire control of the company. Project Software said the plan is designed to deter tactics that may not offer fair value to shareholders, such as partial or two-tier tender offers, coercive stock accumulation programs, or inadequate offers.
