Network Imaging Corporation & Open Solutions Inc. form Strategic Alliance; TREEV Enterprise(TM) Series to be Marketed With Bank Core-Processing System
HERNDON, Va., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Network Imaging Corporation (Nasdaq: IMGX - news) today announced that its TREEV division has formed a strategic alliance with Open Solutions Inc. (OSI) for the purposes of marketing a joint technology solution to community-based financial institutions. Customers and prospects of both organizations will benefit from a comprehensive solution that ensures compatibility between its bank core-processing system and its report management/document management systems. This integrated solution draws on TREEV's industrial-strength COLD product, TREEV Explorer, its document management and imaging system, TREEV Voyager II(TM), and OSI's bank core- processing technology, The Complete Banking Solution(TM).
TREEV Explorer provides automated capture, indexing, archival and retrieval of any report created by the OSI core banking system, including account transaction journals, trial balances, customer statements and loan processing reports. As the OSI Complete Banking Solution creates the report output, TREEV Explorer electronically captures and makes that report output accessible on-line. When integrated with TREEV Explorer, the TREEV Voyager II solution provides a search and view interface for all bank documentation, including computer-generated reports, scanned images of paper-based documents and ''live'' versions of electronic documents. For users of OSI's Complete Banking Solution, the TREEV Enterprise Series provides a mechanism to electronically search for and view loan applications, collateral documents, proof of insurance, risk analysis spreadsheets, internal correspondence, escrow statements and transaction journals in a customer-centric file folder structure.
