"Dell is shut out of the high end." What about all the other enterprise solutions providers such as EDS or the large consulting firms? Do they need servers and PCs to implement their solutions? Who will they buy these boxes from? CPQ? HWP? IBM? Why buy from the competitor when they can buy the best "value" machine from an independant. Dell that is. And Dell is not shut out of the high end. If you haven't noticed, that is how they are improving their margins, by becoming more of a player in the server business. I thought that someone posted that it is not smart to short Dell. Humm.
