How hard would it be to gaslight Donald Trump?

Easy. So easy. English needs better words to describe the ease with which a task can be accomplished.

He believes everything he hears. Worse, acts on it as it were factual. How many times has a foreign leader put a bug in Trump’s ear and he’s acted on it, despite being contrary to the national interest? I can think of several. I don’t know why it would be. Probably some 400 pound fatso in his mom’s basement.

Because of Trump’s aggressive intellectual laziness, he has no personal internal standard of logic. “I go with my gut” as he points to his very big uh-brain. Anything is as plausible as anything else. Obama bugged his phone? Lock her up! Cases will soon be close to zero? That’s what I’m hearing.

Trump, in addition to being the biggest liar known to me (it’s truly remarkable how many people he’s fired whom he claims he’s never heard of), is one of the most gullible. When your burden of proof concerning medicine is satisfied by “lots of people are saying good things”, you are truly a fool.

You get a sense for how low Trump's personal bar for believing is by the poor quality of lies he tells. As if anyone with half a brain would believe any of the garbled nonsense coming out of his mouth. His brain froze on a simple word again this week. I think the reel of Trump’s brain glitching and him saying non-words is now about 10–12 minutes long.

His “a lot of people don’t know” is indicative of assuming he knows at least as much as anyone else in the world. This is how you snow Trump. With simple intellectual flattery, you can have that dummy believing anything. He’s made policy decisions based on lies he heard on Fox News. He’s not a true leader, so he's easily-led.

Trump is the poster boy for the gullible and the credulous. The alternative reality promoted where Trump is the best President since Lincoln is very gaslight-y. He and his supporters are perpetually woozy, leaping from one conspiracy theory to another to explain away why Trump has actually failed. If you’ve ever been poisoned by CO, you know how lazy your brain gets. There are no complicated, nuanced thoughts, only simple ones. “Trying not to die, here. Let’s solve the crossword puzzle later.”

The answer to the question is: It’s so easy, it’s been going on for four years as if this were normal. We ALL know that’s false.

The fake news press is very tough on Trump. They report accurately all the stupid things he says without making excuses for him. Sometimes they even record him adn let him speak on his own.
