One of the reasons why "Socialists" promote actions that INCREASE the size (and population) of Government is that it gives them a virtually guaranteed "Voter Base". When Election Time comes around they will point to Capitalist or Conservative candidates and say to their "Voter Base", mentioned above, ... "If you vote for those individuals they will cut jobs and reduce employment in government departments !!! Is that what you want to happen ??? Vote for us and GUARANTEE YOUR EMPLOYMENT !!!?" ....... Or words to that effect .... A "Socialist" inclined individual, such as a Bernie Sanders, would never have done what Donald Trump did which boosted the US Economy and gained greater prosperity for ALL Americans. The likes of Bernie Sanders still believe that "THERE IS SUCH A THING AS A FREE LUNCH" and that there's a "Magic Money Tree" in the back garden of the US Treasury ........
