It doesn't appear that the conversation that the black parents are having with their children about how to act around police officers is being absorbed. I'll tell you what I do around police and what I've taught my children to do.. Act polite and don't act in the least bit threatening. Don't call them names. Don't shout in their faces "f--k the police". Don't pour milk and water over their heads as they attempt to arrest people. I think what we are all sick of hearing is the victim mentality and the chip on the shoulder boohoo bullshit. I'm a Cuban who brown and is part black and Native American. I'm the ass of the dog in terms of my racial mix, and yet, I never once thought about it until the last 5 years, when the Democrats in this country started created racial problems through the constant use of victim mentality, race baiting, and identity politics. I've made plenty of money and have been treated respectfully. You know why? I treat others as I'd have them treat me and I am respectful of those in authority positions or those, like the police, who are there to protect us. Here's the fact. Black on white violence is 10 times more prevalent than black on white violence. Blacks need to adjust their attitudes and get an education and get a job, instead of constantly blaming everyone else for their problems. When people call me wetback or spic, I laugh, because they are stupid and ignorant. Blacks need to learn to shrug off the haters and take control of their own lives instead of opting for slavery to the Democrat elitists who want to control their minds with all their divisive bullshit. As to the majority protesting peacefully. Bullshit. They are burning and looting. They have no right to assembly, if it is to burn our country down. Ever day this goes on, the Democrats are losing votes. I voted for Obama. I will never vote for Biden, who is weak on crime and even weaker on China. You can kiss the next 4 years goodbye. Trump will win again and these riots are ensuring it.
