R to S, one day of New Highs and New Lows, is not as good as the Gottfried format. Awhile ago, it was this:

siliconinvestor.com

To see a two-day number change from 12 to 12 when the second 12 had changes from the first 12, hides what went on.
If you set up a 6-column report, you would only have to remove one after adding the 7th, save it to be final, or go all the way to the 10-columns that Gottfried used. Or ask the board how many they would look at. I would look at about 6 to show a current "week" and one more for the 6 total.

If you see an advantage in not seeing what happened, let everyone know. Thx.

I'll put the two 12's side by side to see how many changes there were, when I get on a PC.

Thx

Edit
If we ever did this graphically, it would show it expanding and contracting, and expanding again until it's neutral. With just 12 "changing" to 12, that's hidden.
