How are you seeing a crash in October

Here is my take FWIW.

Let's be clear that this is an election year and Trump will be pumping hard to retain confidence in the market.
There will be fake polls a plenty showing Biden leading by around 10 points which will rattle investors the nearer it gets to election day. The prospect of a Biden led Democratic Administration having to manage a fractured balance sheet will cause a few sleepless nights for some.

Unless Cassandra is right with one of her many crash warnings then the P/E ratio will be seen by prudent investors as being through the roof by October. This will be highlighted by a swath of reports of significantly reduced earnings.
A lot of people not unlike myself will decide they want to bank the massive windfall of the last few years and reduce their market exposure rather than risk waiting for a flash crash around Election day. The result will be the same but just a few weeks earlier methinks.
So October is when the smelly stuff meets the fan blades IMO.

I have stuck my neck out and would now love to hear the predictions of all y'all.

Cheers
