Hi Joe,
Thanks again for a great post. I think I know the papers from the North West that you are referring to. I also know of some work at another university that found high PGMs in the work they were doing on tungsten ore and since the ore had no gold and PGMs by conventional methods of assay, they blamed contamination from a very rich unknown source for their repeated results. Even their successful pilot plant produced repeated high precious metals recoveries. They must have been driven crazy looking for the contamination source. The process was patented and even the patent made reference to the precious metals.

I have a paper that you ought to have. If you contact me by email I will make a copy available to you. It is an inhouse paper for a large platinum producer mining company with similar deposits to Globals Oro Grande. I am sure they are really proud of the fact that I distribute this paper so freely. I will be looking for your next post. mike
