That's a good enuf reason, but the mob won't be appeased until they go to jail for something, even if it's (accessory to) involuntary manslaughter.
I'm not even sure about that. People are convinced that this cop WANTED to murder George Floyd.

Being acquitted on 2nd degree murder will not appease them, even if he gets convicted on 3rd degree and sent to prison for years.

And what do you mean by "accessory to" anyway? I thought we were talking about the main officer, not his three partners.
