The bureaucrats got really upset with the "Clean the Swamp" statement.

When they saw it wasn't electioneering and it was for real, they discovered that the administration wasn't going to be business as usual. They could not take it, conflicts ensued and they were booted out.

I worked most of my life as an outsider to systems. First, seconded to Siemens AG and then as doing gigs from 1993 to 2015.

Over these decades, I discovered the following. Any organization develops a culture that is peculiar to the entity. Over the years ti became ingrained into companies and their modus operand. You might have seen this when you worked for Chevron too.

They attract a certain kind of people, retain only that type of people and expels people who do not adhere to that company's culture. Management books are full of examples of that.

Here is how the groups' mechanism works as part of their DNA
  • Once you enter, first they test if you are the caliber of the group.
  • Then they try to mold you into the group's culture.
  • If you are not, next, they try to keep you away from the group.
  • And finally they work to expel you from the group.

After decades, this entity became purified, that the only members have that specific company DNA. And that is when they are just waiting to go down.

This above is how I analyse Trumps' administration.
The conflicts result from people who were part of the system. Were selected thinking it was going to be business as usual, did not accept the new status quo and were booted out.
