Another thing which I am daily criticized on is my view of welfare. Here is mine:

You get two years.
In that two years you have to apply to a job once a month.
After a year and a half, if you have not found a job, you get a stack of resumes mailed to you from McDonald's, Wendy's, Arby's blah blah blah, and you go get a job. Then after a few years experience, you could probably get a low end job at some factory, and work your way up. My mom was pregnant with me when she was nineteen. We never saw a welfare check. We were lucky to have a TV. We live on Mac and Cheese and Eggs. We didn't have luxuries. Now I sit in front of a PII-233 souped up machine and I don't ever regret her making that decision. Welfare is for the weak.
