I doubt that trade might make you money, only if Bank of Canada were to raise interest rates tomorrow to prop up the dollar. I doubt they will do this, as they previously announced the economy is not growing fast enough to warrant this action. Bank of Nova Scotia's gonna split soon. Both bank shares are trading at discounts compared to peers. In case you haven't heard, there's going to be some consolidation in the Canadian banks. Nothing in previous post that said they were absolutely not going to merge. Hey if the price is right anything is possible, I don't care what the management says. However CT is more adamant and clear about their intentions than Bank of Nova Scotia.
