<<There seem to be rumors that K6-233's are now not widely available.> During AMD's 4th Quarter conference call, Sanders specifically stated that K6-233s that make the grade are being allocated to Compaq and IBM to cover contractual responsibilities. There is not enough production to meet new demand. This yield problem seems to be terribly frustrating. However, Sanders sounded very optimistic that the yield problem would be solved.
