Assuming no major data revisions, today would go down in history as involving both the biggest upside data surprise for markets and largest forecast miss for economists and Wall Street analysts.

With that, the Dow surged 3.1% (800+ points), S&P 2.6% and NASDAQ 2.1% (record high).
