I don't really know, but I can find out. I believe they can have up to 64 CPU's and compete with mainframes on a performance basis. There's another post on this thread (#7338) which points to a URL about how they were given an award. The Starfire would replace several Sparcserver 2000's and 1000's which we have, so the one we're may be fully loaded. I think we're paying for it over a couple of years.
