So technically, if 51% of the protestors are peaceful, you can say, "it's true, most of the protests are peaceful." But that's not really what we're looking for, is it? If you are honest with yourself? The looting was extensive and across many major cities. That cannot be allowed. It's not what protests were meant to be, and you know it. There is now a palpable level of fear among my friends, both Democrat and Republican. The R's are more straightforward in their assessments, but the D's support the movement, but then will make little subtle statements about things related to the safety of their kids and the like. I can tell, they are scared too. The myth of the police's ability to protect us from the mob has been shattered. This time around, these protests are different.
