There is body cam footage but the it's not being released, whatever tentative conclusions can be drawn from that. Don't know if I want to wade into this, maybe a little. Various holds and whatnot, how big the guy was, resisting or not, my observation is that things have gone from "only when resisting arrest" to that's how we do things. My own personal observation is that face down, handcuffed, knee in the back is used when the person is perceived as having no power and has nothing to do with resisting. Doesn't have much to do with race either, in fact those that do seem to take extra relish in the white guys, they get a little mental checkmark as not a racist. It's weird. Used to not be that way.
