OK, but Wharf Rat, please don't be disingenuous. That is not the same thing as what has been proposed today. The BLM folks are advocating for "Defunding the Police" and they have said they will replace that with their own "peace officers" affiliated with BLM. In other words, armed people who are not accountable to anyone but BLM. Don't you find that a bit dangerous? In New Jersey, they disbanded the police and replaced them with a new police department with new people who were not corrupt. Those new police are held accountable and are a function of the state, not some private partisan political group. Very big difference. Remember Hitler's Brown shirts? They were a group only accountable to a partisan political party too. Look at what they did to the Jews. We MUST learn from history, so we don't repeat the same mistakes. And remember, being Jewish and white, you will not be immune from what a partisan mob will do to white people in this climate of white loathing. I might be, because I'm brown enough, but you will not be.
