And finally, the eternal preemptive strike on speech recognition. There are products out there, but Microsoft's going to build it into the OS, so everybody's wasting their time and money on the problem. Bill's been saying this for years, it must be the TRUTH!

Ah, but IBM beat them to it! OS/2 has speech recognition built in but I never really played with it much. It did work though but reeally only after you trained it to your voice. My kid got pretty good with it and if I ever have a disability and can't type I would surely use it. Of course nobody took notice of IBM putting it into the OS and of course those reasons are obvious.

Did you hear the one about the dyslexic, agnostic insomniac? Sheesh. ROFLOL!
