I did ask my broker. he said that there was only 500 shares offered on the ask. Also that the average transaction was 20,000 shares.

It seems that nobody wanted to split up what they had... I already have 4000 shares that I bought at .20 I decided to average down a little when I saw the stock moving up as it did recentely. I was only trying to purchase another 1000 shares.

Anywho as you know I didn't get filled even though I put in an offer that beat the ask by 3%. I guess it's possible that all the MM had only 20,000 share blocks. It just seems to me that someone should have broken one up, even if I only wanted 1 share. I mean, isn't that what it's all about? That price that is quoted is the price for one share, right? And what about these commissions we pay? isn't part of that supposed to help cover those poor MM who have to "break up a block"

Someone should try ordering just one share. See if you ever get filled.

I just feel I should have been filled for 1000 shares when I put my order in at .03 over the ask, and the ask stays still for 1 hour!
