Dear Martin and All: I am a fairly new investor in DCTC (tiny by comparison). Anyway, I have been watching the FTEL DCTC FNET thread with great interest since signing on with Silicon Investor and have a concern about all these other "players" that are now cropping up just prior to the so-called "good news" we have all been waiting for from Franklin. It is this: I have used an over-the-internet telephone called Webphone for about two months and to be honest it leaves a lot to be desired as far as quality communication. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give the quality a minus 3. I can talk to someone in Sweden with great results and talk to my brother in New York and get better result with smoke signals. My question is, if all these companies are having the same problems as far a quality communication what does Franklin and DCI have that will overcome these problems. They will be using the same "ole" lines that everyone uses. How will they overcome the now the already crowded, busy lines that are in existance? Does it have to do with compression?
