SItizen Reid
or
Citizenry

Oh Carolyn no, such sad news.
Vendit was exactly as a SItizen should be, many will miss him personally, many reflections of his contributions can be seen woven into the fabric we all share.
His legacy will live on in so many others who do as he did, his character part of the script, his patterns forever etched into the new land.
You cannot ever replace an original, once it is lost, it is gone, but representations always exist.
For those who knew Vendit on SI the impression was permanent.
Always helpful, always friendly and very knowledgeable.
Vendit belonged in the new land and it really showed, he made people comfortable here.
And by being who he was Reid made starting here easier for a lot of people.
He had a natural way with this medium.
His contributions to SI over the last generation were evident.
Goodbye Reid, SI will miss your contributions and your presence.
