You have answered part of my question. I am still confused about the feasibility issue. Using IS-95 as an example, if you had believed Frezza, it is a worthless standard because CDMA will not work. It took QCOM a few years to prove him wrong.

Isn't the 3G alliances in about the same position now, as IS-95 when it was adopted? Has anyone actually developed 3G prototypes that work? This is quite different from adopting standards for, say, 3' 5' and 10' ladders because ladders of all sizes have been in production for years. Is there a possibility that a global standard is adopted for 3G today, be it w-CDMA, b-CDMA or GOOFY, only to find out 3 years from now that it will not work, after years and millions of dollars down the drain?

BTW: May be we should do a head count on who would like to join us on Feb 10. Anyone interested please send me a email and I will try some coodinating.
