They fail to say how,let's us hope this is another baseless rumor. ----------------------------------------------------------------- U.S Headline Stocks this from yahoo: <<-- Compaq Computer Corp's (CPQ - news) acquisition of Digital Equipment Corp (DEC - news) could imperil an earlier deal between Digital and Intel Corp (INTC - news), the Wall Street Journal reported in its electronic edition. Late last year Digital agreed to sell a chip-making plant and production rights to its ultrafast Alpha processor to Intel for a package valued at $1.5 billion, including $700 million in cash. The deal is still under review by federal antitrust regulators. Compaq closed at 30. Digital closed at 56-3/8. Intel closed at 79-3/16.
