Brand Fail: Lincoln Project Adviser Rick Wilson’s Week Goes From Embarrassing to Utterly HumiliatingPosted at 9:00 pm on June 16, 2020 by Sister Toldjah

As we reported earlier, Never Trump grifter Rick Wilson’s week started off on a very embarrassing note after he was caught trying to cancel Domino’s Pizza over a response-tweet they wrote to White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany nearly 8 years ago.

To recap: Wilson, who along with George Conway, Steve Schmidt, and other “principled” conservatives is an adviser to the anti-Trump PAC “Lincoln Project”, tweeted “You just killed your brand. #ETTD” Monday night before it was pointed out to him the tweet was published during Obama’s presidency, when Wilson was still pretending to be a Republican and well before Trump ran for president.

Wilson tried to weasel his way out of the embarrassing moment, but conservatives who find his shtick tiresome were not going to let him. Some took the opportunity to note that his position as a Lincoln Project founder and Biden supporter was at odds with his past tweets ridiculing Biden as an lecherous, undignifiedmoron.” Domino’s Pizza got the final word in, though, tweeting “It’s unfortunate that thanking a customer for a compliment back in 2012 would be viewed as political. Guess that’s 2020 for ya.”

Unfortunately for Wilson, the bad news didn’t end there. Since he saw fit to dig up an old tweet to shame and cancel Domino’s, others started digging beyond just his tweets on the Twitter machine. His Instagram account was combed, and images of a cooler with a Confederate flag were discovered:

Hi @TheRickWilson, I know you’re desperately deleting pictures of your confederate “THE SOUTH WITH RISE AGAIN” cooler you have, but it looks like you missed one.

That thing goes everywhere with you, huh?

Not sure how an organization called "The Lincoln Project" could have as one of its principals a guy who proudly displayed the Confederate Flag on his boat.

How does that work, @ProjectLincoln? Anyone? @gtconway3d? @SteveSchmidtSES?

Anyone? t.co
