After consolidating Claris into single FileMaker, the characteristics
of the company will mainly focus on database development on Mac/WinTel
as well as future Rhapsody.

After Compaq acquired Digital, it appears that Window NT becomes even
more important in comsumer/enterprise markets. Sun Micro gradually
realizes the situation and announces today that shifts its server's
database closer to NT. I think FileMaker already has focused on
WinTel (both Window 95 and NT), they should continue emphasizing on
NT as well as future's Rhapsody. I believe FileMaket will be doing
well in consumer market, and should gradually enter enterprise market
with NT/Rhapsody as bases.
