6/19/2020 Contest update

The quadruple witches cast their spell this week and it was a benevolent one for biotech investors.
At Friday’s close, the Contest median was up 13.98% YTD (vs. up 5.03% YTD a week ago), the Nasdaq Biotech Index (NBI) was up 16.64% YTD (vs. up 8.25% YTD a week ago), the smaller-cap S&P Biotechnology Select Industry Index (SPSIBI) was up 16.68% YTD (vs. up 7.31% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Composite Index (NCI) was up 10.26% YTD (vs. up 6.30% YTD a week ago).
FILO’s portfolio, with a phenomenal 147.18% YTD gain, remains Contest leader, with JBOG’s portfolio YTD gain of 132.91% amazingly only good enough for second place. OLIVIER’s portfolio, up 58.23% YTD, has now taken third place.
At Friday's close, 31 of the 42 Contest portfolios were in the green, with 18 beating the NBI and the same 18 beating the SPSIBI.
The 197 Contest stock picks have an average YTD gain of 27.01% and a YTD median gain of 8.00%.
